Carlos Vallecillos is the creative force behind Et Voilà, a project born at the crossroads of sound design and avant-garde aesthetic movements. With a background that includes two previous releases (Incendios que yo te Conté and Sensual Minds) - which explored the boundaries between ambient and techno - Carlos is now expanding his universe into more experimental and conceptual territories. His sonic language draws from sound art, glitch aesthetics, and industrial raw textures, using drone as a foundation to build deeply cinematic atmospheres. Fascinated by architecture and the organization of space, his current work seeks to translate matter and form into sound, exploring the beauty of the austere and the monumental through digital synthesis and processing.
Et Voilà debuts on Mahorka with "Architextures vol.1". "Architextures" is a study of sonic volumes that explores the intersection between human construction and industrial synthesis. In this first volume, the artist dives into the aesthetic of Brutalism, translating the raw honesty of concrete and the structural complexity of geometric forms into sound. The EP is a journey through four "sonic spaces" where cold, digital textures collide with organic, processed recordings. From oppressive stillness to rhythmic pulses that evoke the heartbeat of a deserted mega-structure, "Architextures vol.1" captures the melancholic beauty of the gray scale.
